MATRICZ is a semi-modular software synthesizer, not a fixed two-oscillator layout. A 24x12 grid holds nodes you size and position yourself, and a routing tab exposes every audio and modulation port as a typed jack, with connection rules enforced automatically.
Oscillators run a polyBLEP analog engine or a wavetable engine loaded from Serum-format WAV files, with 16 stock tables, user import and a pencil tool to draw your own. Filter, EQ, distortion, compressor, formant filter, ring modulator, delay, reverb, chorus and phaser are all nodes.
LFOs with seven shapes or a custom drawable curve, macro knobs, sample and hold, MIDI polyphony with voice stealing, full undo/redo and a searchable preset system.
What it does
- Node-based: build any combination of sounds and effects
- Oscillators, filters and LFOs built in
- FX: filter, EQ, distortion, compressor, formant filter, ring mod, utility
- Collapsible racks: nested sub-patches with their own routing
